This is not based on anything – but seems like we are going to see Dead Rising on PSN pretty soon.

In a recent interview 1UP did with Yoshiki Okamoto, Game Republic founder and Folklore’s lead designer, it was revealed that Folklore will not have a sequel.
“Unfortunately, we’re not making a sequel for either of those games[Folklore or Phantom Brave]. We had talked about a PSP version for Folklore, but we’ve since ceased those discussions. It makes me a little sad, but that’s just the way it is.”
